01 Introducing your studies
Talk about your subject, year of study, interests, and reasons for learning Croatian. Build a useful personal introduction.
Practice task: Prepare a short introduction for a classmate or staff member.
02 Timetables, dates & arrangements
Read simple timetable language, compare dates, and clarify where and when an activity takes place.
Practice task: Ask about a class or appointment and confirm the details.
03 Polite emails & inquiries
Explore formal greetings, short questions, clear requests, and appropriate closings. Use models without pretending that one template fits every situation.
Practice task: Draft a short inquiry about a timetable or appointment.
04 Housing & everyday administration
Practise accommodation vocabulary and simple questions about costs, facilities, and arrangements. Language practice does not replace legal or immigration advice.
Practice task: Ask a housing-related question and clarify an important detail.
05 Classroom language & asking for help
Use expressions for repetition, explanation, deadlines, and basic instructions. Practise stating what you understood and what is still unclear.
Practice task: Ask for clarification and restate a simple instruction.
06 Student conversations in practice
Combine campus, accommodation, and social scenarios. Review a short written inquiry and practise one situation relevant to your goals.
Practice task: Complete a guided role-play and revise a practical student email.
The syllabus is a proposed learning plan. Units may span more than one lesson, and learning progress varies. Final materials and arrangements will be confirmed before enrollment.
A TASTE OF THE LANGUAGE
Useful words.
Real situations.
These examples show the kind of language you can practise. They are free samples, not a full lesson.

TRY A SMALL TASK
Put it into practice.
Write a short inquiry asking when a lecture begins. Include a greeting, one clear question, and a polite closing.
How progress can be reviewed
The proposed approach uses short role-plays, guided speaking, simple written tasks, and a review of recurring difficulties. These activities help identify further practice needs; they are not an accredited examination or a guarantee of a particular proficiency level.
